DKI International, Inc. has an opening for the position of Mechanical Engineer (Ref# ME620FI).

Work Location:  6775 Daly Road, Suite 101, West Bloomfield, MI  48322.

Job Duties:  Under direct supervision, perform engineering duties in planning and designing tools, machinery, and other mechanical equipment, components, systems, fixtures, and devices.  Support installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment such as heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) and/or water systems.  Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and reports.  Prepare specifications, plans, schedules, environmental studies, and project designs to prepare reports and design documents.  Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and/or maintain mechanical products, equipment, or systems to meet requirements.  Implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.  Support aspects of production including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, and operation of product designs.  Investigate and resolve equipment failures or difficulties.   Ensure that machines/equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.  Analyze the feasibility, design, operation, and/or performance of equipment, components, or systems.  Analyze design proposals, specifications, or other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, or maintenance requirements of designs or applications.

Requirements:  This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.  Position requires completion of Bachelor-level academic coursework in Mechanical Drawing.  40hrs/week.
